For 2025, the Super Duty lineup sees a handful of changes. The main change that you will find is the 6.8-liter gas V-8 engine is now standard on the XLT and Lariat. This engine is paired with a 10-speed transmission. Towing also gets an upgrade for 2025 with the available individual tire pressure monitoring for the trailers. You can also add auxiliary cameras to help give you a better view of your surroundings.
The Platinum trim comes with a Black Onyx cab with Platinum Blue accents and a black exterior trim. If you opt for the Platinum Plus package, you can look for chrome trim and exclusive leather upholstery and color schemes. Ford also added some new exterior colors to help keep things fresh, these colors are Avalanche and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat.
For 2025, the Super Duty comes in these trims, for these prices:
- XL: 250 starting at $45,300, 350 at $46,595, and 450 at $59,955
- XLT: 250 starting at $51,295, XLT at $52,600, and 450 at $67,195
- Lariat: 250 starting at $64,740, 350 at $66,040, and 450 at $80,165
- King Ranch: 250 starting at $76,975, 350 at $78,275, and 450 at $92,590
- Platinum: 250 starting at $77,865, 350 at $79,165, and 450 at $94,035
Looking at some trims, starting with the XL, you can expect some pretty basic features. The XL comes with box side steps, as well as rear corner bumper steps. This makes it easier to get up and access the bed of the truck if you need to adjust your cargo.
The Lariat comes with BLIS with trailer coverage. When you have a trailer in tow, you can feel confident knowing that you will never be surprised by another vehicle. This system will alert you when a vehicle is in your blind spot or alongside your trailer.
This trim also offers some comfort and convenience features. For comfort, you will find that you are treated to a heated steering wheel. This feature helps keep your hands loose even when the temperatures start to drop. For convenience, you have access to a remote start system that will make it easy to get in and go, and after a long day at the work site, it’s surely a welcome feature.
The Platinum is for those who want to ride around like a king. When you’re rolling up to the work site you can enjoy some creature comforts while maintaining the rugged work ethic the Super Duty is known for. This trim features a power tailgate with retractable tailgate step. Instead of having to manually lower the tailgate, simply press a button and you’re ready to load the bed. When needing to get into it, you can use the tailgate step to make sure that you never strain yourself getting up and down again.
